Preliminary work on the Financials System Modernization Project is now underway.
This multi-phase, multi-year system implementation will provide increased financial clarity, a more standardized Chart of Accounts, and more streamlined business processes for financial management at the University of Arizona.

The project team is comprised of staff from Financial Services, University Information Technology Services (UITS), and campus business units. In late 2019, the team established a project plan and conducted a campus readiness assessment. Although the pandemic caused some delays, planning for this initiative moved forward in January 2021.

What this means for you.
Opportunities for building awareness and engagement with the University’s business community are an important part of a successful implementation. We look forward to substantial engagement with you as we take steps towards modernizing our financial system.

  • Vendor demonstrations, designed to aid in understanding the capabilities of a modern financial system, are scheduled for the mornings of April 28 and 29, 2021.
